The Prize

• $500 cash travel stipend paid to the winner in the form of cash or check.

How to Enter

Grand Prize Entry: Visit 4 Umpqua Valley wineries and get your passport stamped or signed by the tasting room attendant. Once you’ve completed all 4, detach and leave the stamped passport at any participating winery. Print your name, email address, city, state, and zip code legibly on the passport to be entered into the sweepstakes.

By submitting your passport, you agree to opt in to marketing emails.  You may opt out at any time. Your contact information will not be shared with anyone. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. See additional rules and restrictions below.

Participants are permitted to enter both the Passport Sweepstakes and this Mini Sweepstakes.  Please be advised that all rules governing the Mini Sweepstakes and the Passport Sweepstakes remain consistent, regardless of the method of entry or the prize offered.

How to Enter

Mini Sweepstakes Prize: Our second sweepstakes, the Mini Sweepstakes, provides you with the opportunity to win two (2) VIP tickets. 

To participate in the Mini Sweepstakes entrants must complete the form below providing their first name, last name, and email address. By entering the Mini Sweepstakes, you are opting into marketing emails from the Umpqua Valley Winegrowers Association. Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

Please be advised that all rules governing the Mini Sweepstakes and the Passport Sweepstakes remain consistent, regardless of the method of entry or the prize offered.  Participants are permitted to enter both the Passport Sweepstakes and this Mini Sweepstakes.

Rules and Restrictions Governing the Passport Sweepstakes and the Mini Sweepstakes

ENTRY PERIOD The Umpqua Valley Winery Passport Sweepstakes and Mini Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) are open to participants between 4/1/2024 at 12:01:00 am Pacific Time and 12/31/2025 at 11:59:00 pm Pacific Time (the “Entry Period”). All entries must be received by 12/31/2025 at 11:59:00 pm Pacific Time. The drawing will occur within 15-30 business days following the conclusion of the sweepstakes. 

ELIGIBILITY To enter the Sweepstakes, you must be a lawful permanent resident of one of the fifty United States (including the District of Columbia) and 21 years of age or older at the time of entry (“Participant”). The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law. It is governed by U.S. law and subject to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

The Sweepstakes is not open to employees, temporary employees, independent contractors, agents, owners, officers, or directors—or members of their immediate families or households—of: (a) the Umpqua Valley Winegrowers Association (UVWA); (b) any state alcohol commission; (c) any licensed alcoholic beverage retailer, distributor, or wholesaler; or (d) any parent, subsidiary, affiliate, or advertising or promotional agency associated with the above.

HOW TO ENTER By entering either the Winery Passport or Mini Sweepstakes, Participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the “Sponsor” (Umpqua Valley Winegrowers Association), which shall be final.

Passport Sweepstakes Entry: Participants must obtain four (4) unique stamps from participating Umpqua Valley wineries using the Winery Passport, then complete and submit the passport at any participating winery with the attached stamped passport. All passports must have a legible email, name, and additional contact info specified on the passport. By entering, you agree to receive email and marketing promotions from the UVWA. You may opt out at any time.

Mini Sweepstakes Entry: Participants may enter the Mini Sweepstakes by signing up for the Umpqua Valley Winegrowers Association email list during the Entry Period.

RESTRICTIONS ON PARTICIPANTS AND ENTRIES Participants may only submit one (1) entry per Sweepstakes. Duplicate entries may result in disqualification. Use of automated systems to submit entries is prohibited. Entries must be submitted by the Participant.

WINNERS One (1) potential winner will be selected for the Passport Sweepstakes in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or around 1/3/2025 (the “Drawing Date”). The winner will be notified by email and/or phone within 72 hours of the Drawing Date. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 72 hours, an alternate winner may be selected.

One (1) winner will also be selected for the Mini Sweepstakes in a separate random drawing on the same Drawing Date from all eligible Mini Sweepstakes entries.

To be declared a winner, the selected individual must:

• Verify eligibility and identity
• Be 21 years of age or older

Failure to meet these conditions may result in disqualification. UVWA reserves the right to disqualify any winner who violates these rules. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for each Sweepstakes.

PASSPORT SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE One (1) winner will receive a wine country getaway to the Umpqua Valley. The prize includes:

• Overnight accommodation at Seven Feathers Casino Resort on March 7, 2026, in a hotel room designated by the Umpqua Valley Winegrowers Association

MINI SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE One (1) winner will receive two (2) VIP tickets to Oregon’s oldest wine celebration—Greatest of the Grape, held on March 7, 2026.

PRIZE TERMS AND CONDITIONS All expenses not specifically identified as included in the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. All costs, fees, and expenses associated with any element of the Prize not specifically addressed above are the sole responsibility of the Winner.

Prizes must be accepted as described in these Official Rules and cannot be, in whole or in part, transferred to another person, substituted for another prize, or exchanged for money without the prior express written consent of the Sponsor.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, Participants agree to the taking, use, and communication of their personal information by the Sponsor and/or its authorized agents in order to manage the Sweepstakes and Prizes. Except where prohibited by law, Participant grants Sponsor a license to use Participant’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, entry materials, biographical information, voice, and city and state address on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, and without any notice, payment, or compensation.

All applicable taxes (including federal, state, and local taxes) on prizes are the Winner’s responsibility.

Prizes are provided “as is.” Participant acknowledges that Sponsor has neither made, nor is in any manner responsible for, any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Prizes, including any express warranties provided by a Prize supplier that are sent along with the Prizes, and any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

DECLARATION OF GIVEAWAY, AUTHORIZATION, AND RELEASE REGARDING ENTRY By submitting an Entry, Participant irrevocably grants Sponsor and its representatives all rights, title, and interest in the Entry including, but not limited to, copyright and trademark rights, which Participant holds.
