Sponsorship for Greatest of the Grape

The Greatest of the Grape is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Umpqua Valley Winegrowers Association.  As you may be aware, we are a non-profit member organization dedicated to promoting the wineries and vineyards located in Douglas County.  Our goal with the Greatest of the Grape is to raise money, but also demonstrate the quality and diverse variety of wines made in our appellation.

The majority of wineries in the Umpqua Valley are small, family wineries.  Many of these winemakers have a day job, and manage to make wine and keep their tasting rooms open on the weekend through grit, perseverance, and a lot of hard work.  The wine industry has become more competitive over the years, and with almost 1,000 wineries in the state of Oregon, it is even harder for the smaller wineries to stand out.  This is where the UV Winegrowers Association comes in.  We are a voice for the small vineyards and wineries, and together we can not only advocate for our members, but through events like this we can showcase the award-winning wines of the Umpqua Valley, and bring our Valley the recognition that it deserves.

The Greatest of the Grape has changed a lot over the years, but two things remain the same: the passion of the winemakers and grape growers in the Umpqua Valley, and the unwavering support from our local community.

We have 3 ways you can pledge your sponsorship:

  2. Complete our sponsorship form and scan/email it, then we’ll send you a QuickBooks invoice electronically for payment.
