Greatest of the Grape
Oregon’s oldest wine celebration honors more than five decades of winemaking history in the Umpqua Valley. Founded in 1970, this event set out to celebrate locally produced wines and champion wine grape growing as a viable agricultural industry in Oregon. What began as a small educational gathering has evolved into a cherished annual tradition that reflects the growth, innovation, and community spirit of our region.

Venture to the valley and join us on February 5th to 7th for the Greatest of the Grape, a weekend-long celebration of Umpqua Valley wine.
This year’s event will feature a new VIP Experience, the return of the People’s Choice Awards, thoughtfully curated culinary pairings, local art, and the beloved Wheel of Wine and Sunday Special. You won’t want to miss it!
The VIP Experience, limited to 40 guests, takes place on Friday, February 5th, at Richwine Vineyards. This exclusive formal dinner will feature a chef-driven, three-course, farm-to-table menu thoughtfully paired with the four wine entries selected by the Greatest of the Grape panel of professional judges.
Chef to be announced. We kindly request our guests dress in elevated cocktail attire to match the elegance of the evening.
The Awards Gala on February 6th, Saturday, will be held at the Umpqua Grand Ballroom at Seven Feathers Casino Resort.
Taste ~40 select wines from ~20 wineries poured for you by our winemakers and winegrowers. Participate in voting for the People’s Choice Awards. Enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres—thoughfully created by Seven Feathers’ Executive Chef Jacob Johnson and Chef Lucas Schrock to pair with the evening’s wine list.
Enjoy an art-infused silent auction, elegant live music, and the highly anticipated Wheel of Wine charity fundraiser (beneficiary will soon be announced).
New this year: Bottles of wine to take home will be available for purchase.
